Before forming CCSB Law in 1995, the founding partners all worked in large downtown Toronto law firms. While the work was challenging enough to build and shape their expertise, they all felt something was missing – the personal side of practicing law.
They decided that in order to really get to know their clients and cultivate one-on-one relationships with them, their families and their businesses, they would need to build a smaller, more intimate practice.
Although clients’ needs are more varied and complex in order to keep pace with today’s business world, there’s still a lot to be said about an intimate, hands-on approach. That is the notion that continues to guide the firm in delivering on its promise of large firm expertise and small firm service and attention.
